Good morning everyone,
I’ve created a new application (“Synergy”) which might be of interest to owners of an Elektron Analog Rytm.
Here’s the link to the documentation, which contains lots of screenshots, and the download link:
http://tkscript.de/synergy_ar/index.html
from the documentation:
“Synergy” is a semi-modular MIDI sequencer environment for the Microsoft Windows platform (it’s been ported to Linux but this release only includes the Windows version).
This release contains a stripped down but otherwise fully functional version of the software that focuses on its “Elektron Analog Rytm” (AR) specific features.
The software is distributed “as-is”, no fees, no warranty.
The main motivation for writing this software was to improve the workflow with the Analog Rytm, especially in live or live-like recording situations.
Among other things, the software allows you to:
[ul]
[li]Have an “unlimited” number of kits/patterns objects[/li]
[ul]
[li]These objects can be named and sorted at will[/li]
[li]It’s no longer necessary to care about kit and pattern “numbers”, just create a new kit/pattern if you need one[/li]
[/ul]
[/ul]
[ul]
[li]Store all kits/pattern/… objects on a computer for easy recall[/li]
[ul]
[li]Due to technical limitations of the AR, this excludes samples, so just use the regular AR projects for that[/li]
[/ul]
[/ul]
[ul]
[li]Change kits/patterns with the press of a single trigger button (“beat juggling”)[/li]
[li]Change track mutes with the trigger buttons and use the performance controller pads at the same time[/li]
[li]Store and recall mute setups[/li]
[li]Store and recall performance controller setups[/li]
[li]Morph between different performance controller setups (in user-defined time) (“transition”)[/li]
[li]Use the AR to control other MIDI gear[/li]
[/ul]
