I can get the volca bass and dfam to sync with a cable but that cable won’t work for the rytm and dfam with the routing options

Yes it worked when I used one track to send a click - turned it to just a solid synth sound with a short decay and put a trig on every 1/4 note. Play with the level of the output of this track. Then it went into the DFAM and it took the clock from the click. I do not have it anymore if not I could tell you exact settings but it wasn’t too hard to setup to be honest. Let me know if this works.

Did you manage to sync the AR to Dfam?
Use an impulse machine, set a trig on every 16 steps, turn the track output up to max at every stage, stop the track going to the main outs, connect the track output to the to clock/adv on the DFAM using a stereo to 3.5 splitter - works great. I am using LT6 currently.
This works very well, having done it myself.
& use conditional trigs to get some pattern variety on the DFAM
