Syncing Rytm & Analog Four through Overbridge

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to sync the Rytm and the A4. I have them connected through USB into my PC running Ableton / Overbridge, they sync well to the master tempo after choosing “Machine Sequencer Sync” to CLOCK. The problem is when I press Play on either of them it doesn’t trigger the other one to start. Can someone help me out on how to solve this? Ideally I’d love to press Play on the Rytm and have it trigger my A4, since I have my A4 sequencing my Mother 32 as well.

If Ableton Live is in the center you should surrender to the fact that Live is the master tempo and controller. For ease.

I am not sure if you could have one of the instruments send MMC to start/stop Live, which in turn still needs to be tempo master for Overbridge.
