HI EVERYONE GEAR Syncing,OTMK2,RYTMMK2,A4MK2,VIRUS TI2POLAR and torraiz SP16
Im probably in trouble for posting this in the wrong section, my apologies …
Could anyone give me some direction of the best way to sync up this hardware,im ok to have octatrack as master ect ,im struggling for tutorials on this subject.Im aware of daisy chaining with midi dins but would you think i should be using a midi sync box .Any info is appreciated,im trying to move away from logic based stuff .Elektron gear is very indepth and i suppose ive taken on alot ,what with day job ,mortgage and 3 kids ,not a lot of time but trying my best to stay awake at night.

Hey, I would suggest grabbing one of these:

When you daisy chain your path it can add latency further down the line. If you are using the OT as master, plug it’s out to the input of the thru box, send the outs to your other grooveboxes and virus. Set the RYTM, A4, and Toriaz to receive transport and sync. You may have to mess with the channel settings so that you can still sequence the virus from the OT

I use a quadra midi thru in my setup and it makes things easy to set up midi wise. Daisy chaining things will work but setting up the midi out/thru stuff properly takes time and often needs trouble shooting.

Quit your job, sell 1 or 2 kids ! 
Not easy to learn how to sync and make music with all this new gear ! I think it’s too much, but if you take your time, concentrate on each one sometimes.
As mentioned, OT master for recordings (send) , others slaved (receive).
Not too long midi cables.
