I’m sure it’s been noticed by someone other than me that slowing something down while keeping the pitch the same, or vice versa, introduces artifacts that aren’t present when varying both parameters at the same time with the Rate control, which sounds smoother like a tape or record player. But if I want to use that smoother sound as the basis for a track, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get the sequencer to follow the tempo set by the Rate knob.
Is there a way to set the pitch and tempo to be altered simultaneously in a manner than preserves the integrity of the sample and also updates the sequencer?
