Is there a cheaper alternative than the Sync Gen 11. I want to jam and record into Ableton.

What Innerclock model you’re talking about? Also need to be more specific about your setup…
But if you have an eurorack modular you could try Expert Sleepers modules/plugins. I’ve read somewhere they could do sample-accurate midi clock/sync and a lot other cool stuff.
Personally i’ve choosed Sync Gen IILS (eurorack format), it only does one thing but does that perfectly and its built like a tank. Can recommend it, well worth the waiting/money.
Sync gen 2 pro. I want to sync my octa and my virus b and my analog 4 that I am getting soon. I want to be able to record into Ableton with out any timing issues.

Get the single midi out “non pro” version and daisy chain your units, or get a midi splitter?
Hi you can watch this for the manual sync procedure :
If you want something better, you can looking for a sync box will act as your master clock and all will be slave to this, include the computer :

Fwiw, I recently did some experiments using the MIDI ports on my RME Hammerfall Multiface units - looking at audio recorded back from my Elektron units.
Timing via those is surprisingly impressive. I’m seeing negligible drift.
I’m not sure that a sync-gen type unit could improve on it much.
Those are connected via the PCI-E bus though. I’ve not had such good results with USB based MIDI devices.
Thanks all for the info, I am gonna try the manual route. Other options are to expensive.
