Swing Trig Usage

Hey everyone.

How do you use swing trigs in your projects? I haven’t quite wrapped my head around them and mostly just leave them with the default setting. I’d love to start experimenting with them, any tips?

Now that there’s microtiming, I don’t really play around with swing trigs. What WOULD be nice is if you could have microtiming templates per pattern. Then you could control delay per step across entire patterns.

But as is…you could do things like put swing trigs on steps 5 and 13 to delay snare hits?

try 65% on your hi-hat track, i personally set to 66 or 67%

Garage Swing Octatrack

Hey I been playing about with microtiming and the general swing settings but cant seem to achieve that skippy type swing used in garage records. Any idea on how to achieve what this guy is doing in Cubase (3 minute 50 seconds) for that long and short skippy swing - Any info is much appreciated
