I see now that the last post I responded to was from December, but thought that I’d ask you directly… do these Winter Textures plugins have partial functionality with earlier versions of Live, i.e. 10 Suite? They look great and I don’t want to upgrade Ableton right now as things are working well.

Cycling '74 Max 9 & RNBO will be on sale starting June 15.
Butterfly Effect is on 50% off until 13th June at Plugin Aliiance, $74.99 (excluding tax).
New one to me, I was skeptical as I have many reverbs but got the demo and it is lovely for turning just about anything into lush ambience. Might end up picking it up, I’m sure you could achieve similar with a chain of other plugins but the convenience can be nice.
New bass-focused soft synth from UVI on intro sale.
It looks pretty powerful and full-featured (and probably perfectly capable of non-bass sounds) and it actually has a demo which most UVI stuff doesn’t. Only 3 day demo though which seems a bit tight.
I quite like the look of it, but I don’t like iLok and I had a bad experience with UVI in the past. A while back I signed up for their all-products subscription (again, no demo for most of their stuff) and I quickly had problems with misbehaving plugins, crashes etc. After only a few days I asked them for a refund on the one month that I had paid and they blankly refused.
That left a bad taste in my mouth. If they’d rather snatch €24 and leave a very unhappy customer I’m not sure what that says about them.
Bitwig summer sale from June 11. to August 4. 2026., as usual 25% off.
Top tip, if you don’t already have it then get a free 8-Track license and upgrade to producer or studio as it’s cheaper.
Excellent, I was waiting for the Bitwig sale.
And this form still works for getting a hold of Bitwig 8 track licenses:
https://futureplc.slgnt.eu/optiext/optiextension.dll?ID=JlaJeX%2B1vD6rjE1FAdTqbu9ag5feZurci12j2X9PpTJ2_rttR5WFKWHNSQw3A3gZI8igokAs0dzzVZfgc2dAkm5mrHetL
Seems like there’s no immediate plans for Ableton to support Linux, so I’ll be jumping ship before the Bitwig sale ends in August then. ![]()
Also people with an existing license can generate gift 8 track codes.
Jrrshop.com code FORUM works, at least on the update version. Knocks it down from the sale’s $125 to $111.25
this is on intro sale for about half price
don’t miss to demo it, it is really outstanding, easy to use and makes your track come more alive and 3d
i posted a small demo loop here Useful Mix Assistant Software? - #27 by cgb
There is a giga sale on the Zen Delay Virtual plugin on PB, lowest ever.
Anyone has some experience with it?
Is it actually any good?
I wasn’t that impressed tbh (picked it up when on sale at Thomann). UI felt janky/not fun to use and I didn’t get any great sounding results. Also I hit a bug where sometimes only one channel works unless you remove/reload it. I was told it’s a known bug and there’d be a patch but as far as I know there hasn’t been one. That said it’s super cheap so could be worth a go
Decent deal so I picked it up. Used to own a Zen Delay and this seems to be a decent approximation of it. Great for dub.
intro price on gforce new official prophet 5 plugin … theres a 7 day trial
£69 insteal of £99 atm
Very interesting.
I’d like to know how it stacks up against U-He Repro-5 as that is superb.
Oooooh. Now then. G-Forces Oberheim’s sound excellent so this should be really interesting.
They both sound great, a few pros and cons either way but I didn’t buy the Gforce one as I have Repro (and Arturiua) Prophets and that’s 'good enough ’ for me. If I didn’t already have it covered this is a good deal anbd a great instrument.
I don’t think this has been mentioned already but if you have a Novation or Focusrite account it’s worth checking the software section at the moment because a lot of us have a free copy of UVI Tape Suite sat there. It may depend on what hardware you’ve registered etc but it’s worth a look.
There is also a wider 50% off sale at UVI
Lastly, people are selling their freebie Tape Suite licenses cheaply on KVR and Knobcloud etc so if you don’t have the freebie but still want Tape Suite, it’s worth digging around.
