Thanks I’ll grab the trial. The yt videos always feel like ads but this plugin seems like I’ll use the hell out of it. Appreciate the heads up.

But Newfangle/Eventide know how to do plugins. What i like besides the audio quality is the fact that it is more a modern correction tool for a certain freq range , like - with analog gear - a Pultec for bass/highs or a Pultec Mids for the midrange and not a complete AI automix.
i posted a short demo of a very subtle use of Fixate here
and i have to say i am very impressed on how well it works, sounds and how subtle one can use it. For problematic single tracks like vocals etc it also must be extremely useful.
They certainly do - Saturate finds its way into my sessions all the time, it’s a fantastic plugin. Obliterate I found to be a little too much for my tastes. Pendulate is pretty cool, especially for free.
I’m trying Midrange now, and to my ears it’s making things sound better. Perfect for lazy gits such as myself. ![]()
Thanks. I wonder how much overlap there with Ozone’s relatively recent additions like Clarity/Stabilizer
Pendulate is so cool. I’d love to see that on a physical instrument with knobs :_)
@Moonwax I don’t know either, but i am always so overhelmed by so many different sounding mixes from Ozone etc that i rather want to more stick with my own mix and just fix problems instead of turning it into something i just did not do myself. But that’s just me, for other more experienced users Ozone might just be great.
NI summer sale is on - https://www.native-instruments.com/en/
They’ve reduced the level of discount from previous summer sales and excluded all the recent stuff people might actually want, and in the process pulled off a great trick - making the company seem even less appealing than it already was.
My thoughts exactly!
Just a reminder that I have what I need already

Yes, Ive been liking it so far, still in demo. Soothe 3 came out so Im seeing which one to go for. I wont do both? I’ve already invested in Soothe 2 a while back and the upgrade price to Soothe 3 is roughly the same price as Fixate: Midrange. Im still on the fence where to go with this decision.
If you are demoing both now it would be great if you can share your results, especially if you look at mixbus and synth/drum machine solo tracks with resonance problems i would be very interested to know what’s your opinion on both. Thanks!
oh shit
I might have to get the squid 3. love every plugin I got from them so far
Released today. $4.99 intro
KarmaFX Synth is one of my favorite modular synths, and it’s currently on sale for the absurdly low price of $39.99 through https://audioplugin.deals/product/synth-modular-2-by-karmafx/.
It’s an insane price for a super-powerful and easy-to-use modular synth. Be warned, though, I’ve had a bit of difficulty this week getting to the KarmaFX site on some (but not all) devices (it’s necessary to enter the purchase key). I’ve let KarmaFX know, so hopefully they’ll get that sorted out soon.
The sale runs for another two or three days.
in case you missed the great SAVANT IM 90 (hardware is the uber rare and obscure 80s Publison Infernal Machine) , it is on sale now again for $84 (intro was $79) instead of $179.
Its an amazing plugin really, i cant compare to the original but damn this is one good FX processor.
yeah, their Quantec QRS transfer also is amazing
One of the best sounding effects I’ve ever purchased. Truly, really worth a demo and some listening. It’s not flashy. It just does its job incredibly well.
Prince once gave the Infernal Machine credits on a record. The man was a fan.
These look awesome, but require Live 11 and up.
