Really glad to see he featured the Beat Friend.
It’s the unsung hero of the show for me. I went back to my hotel after day one and ordered it. I hope they do well, really nice guys and it’s clearly a labour of love.

Hope everyone had a good time. I feel like even in spite of global uncertainties the turnout this year is going to break previous record again. Whether you are there for demos, new products, talking with devs, live music or hanging out it’s a great show for any and all of these things. Even if it 6+ hours out of my way, Berlin is a great place for this type of creative atmosphere (very uplifting for me anyway).

I was kind of surprised that Bento won best in show. Not that it isn’t worthy, I’ve not put my hands on it so what the hell do I know, but there seemed to be a lot of really interesting innovative products this year. Maybe that’s not the criteria for winning, maybe it’s the user experience, but I was definitely surprised.

Wanted to have a food truck there. 
Anyway, next year then. Last year there was a nice show and tell SB thread with lots of impressions. I haven’t found it for SB25 (?). Is there such thing or does my subconscious want to protect me from buying new stuff?

A nice thing happened on Sunday, my last day in Berlin. I visited a friend in Friedrichshain, and she recommended Klunkerkranich rooftop bar in Kreuzberg. It was a long walk and the building was closed, so I almost gave up and returned to my hotel. But a few of us found out we had to enter through the parking garage and when I reached the rooftop, Cuckoo was finishing his set. I had no idea there was a Berlin Modular meetup there!
