Odyssey may well be the most impressive clone/tribute/recreation! Video sounds amazing.

cant tell. Im not into Modular, i usually want a Box that makes sound straight away! 
MI Clouds being the exception though. I see it as a Box which makes sound straight away. It just needs Eurorack Power, thats the difference

$599 is quite a lot imho. Considering that you have to BYOS; otherwise you cannot really use this thing. unless your brain is able to memorize dozens of key combinations of course

About Behringer Odyssey - Somehow IMO it’s quite pointless to copy synths which are currently in production. Even the second hand market is saturated.

Can recommend the shuttle system, its Great. Though i advise an external filter for it if you want a real creamy one. I put it through the acidbox3, and every time something New Comes on the market i Just look at this beast and feel content

While I kinda agree, if Behri managed to nail the HF response of the og mk I Ody filter, it might offer a silght edge to the Karp Ody. But the desktop Karp Odys are pretty affordable already, especially on the 2ndhand market.

Its Behringer - they copied Boss and Electro Harmonix pedals, Mackie mixers, KRK speakers etc etc when they were all in production. Just as there is a market for counterfeit watches, sportswear, handbags etc. there is a market for counterfeit music gear, and Behringer are the go to guys for people whose sole concern is cheap stuff.
