I’m getting my gear hooked up all over again. I got an awesome Motu 1248 thanks to a trade with a buddy.
I’m trying to think of something cool I use use the SPDIF I/O for.
I also have a Tascam 122 I’m looking to set up to bounce things to cassette, pitch them around, and record back. It would be nice to make use of this channel for this but I don’t think an extra two layers of DAC would be helpful. Maybe though, I’ve seen some old, cheap lexicon DACS with a digital compressor built in. Maybe its not complete trash, and it could just give me an additional I/O or interface with my tape deck.
In general though, I’d love some kind of versatile flavor unit I could set up to run busses through. Some weird, old effect unit or just something I haven’t even thought of yet.
Give me some cool ideas
