Subharmonicon style polyrhythms with elektron gear? (Combining clock dividers)

I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to achieve Subharmonicon style polyrhythms with the elektron sequencer (DT/DN).

My understanding is that at a basic level Subharmonicon has a 4 step sequencer, and four different clock dividers. The output of the selected clock dividers are combined with OR logic, and these triggers are sent to the sequencer.

I thought maybe I could use four different midi tracks, set a trigger on 1, then change the track length to x steps to replicate the four different clock dividers. Could I then somehow combine these midi triggers to progress a sequence?

This is not exactly the same as the Subharmonicon, but a similar vibe, and lots of fun:

Set both LFOs to square wave, and both modulating pitch. Changing the speed of the LFOs creates various rhythms. LFO depth controls the pitches. LFOs can be free running, or in Hold mode.

Next level: combine multiple tracks doing this, with different step lengths on the sequencer tracks. Also, don’t forget you can parameter lock the LFO speed and depth.

Would really wish that someone (Moog?) would make and sell this sequencer separately

Quick demo of doing this with two tracks on the Analog Four:

agreed, though did stumble on a Max For Live sequencer that does the thing quite well from initial trials: PYTHAGORAS - Polyrhytmic Sequencer version 2.0 by MrPreskovik on maxforlive.com for those interested
