I´ve been rocking the OG Timeline for many years and find it really good.
It sounds great and i use the freeze a lot when I´m playing live.
Only weak point for me is that the looper doesn´t have midi clock sync
Ah I havent used Timeline so I didnt realize it already featured a looper.
Yeah it better have clock sync or won’t be any more usable than what I already have in the HX Stomp.
It did and it was very nice, although only 30 secs as opposed to 5 minutes (!) now. The point for me was that you were able to overdub each time with a different algo while playing something on top of the loop. The downside - no memory, so once you’d power TL down your amazing loops were gone forever, and ever and ever and ever ever ever er er
Isn’t it the same thing Chase Bliss said about their new delay pedal. ![]()
Edit : probably a YT click bait after all.
… and Meris LVX be like “hold my piña colada” dudes
Definitely not though, Big Time is focused towards the interplay between the limiter and delays. It was never marketed as “the end all” of delays.
You’re right, maybe it was just a Youtube click bait I saw. I’ll edit my post.
Hell no!
OUR BIGGEST PEDAL
If you’ve ever found yourself wondering “what’s the most impractical way to make a delay in 2026,” I’m pretty sure we’ve found the answer. It’s Big Time.
Ooh neat. I thought this was going to be more like the Ableton one with the tilt but it sounds like it’s going to be like various trendy pedals, but more Strymony and with a little more control.
Cool how they just added the option to swell/duck to the other engines, too. Though I will say with the kinds of synth patches I tend to make the swell stuff can be unreliable. Like it will sound amazing and then just abruptly cut off when you modulate something on the synth. That is more optimized for guitar sounds probably.
Good for them!
