Thanks! For some reason the WAV file sounds different on the OT than it does on the computer.

But there is no compression applied from the OT when I simply put a sample on the CF, is that right?

Am I missing something because the the OT tracks are mono and the track I put on T1 is stereo?

EDIT: Sorry never mind this makes no sense :slight_smile:

The tracks are all stereo! It shouldn’t sound too different. Make sure your gains aren’t too high.

I’m guessing your sample tempo is different from your master tempo, and you have time stretch on.

You can set effets to none.
I noticed a quicker degradation of the signal with resample with filter on, even with neutral settings.

UPDATE: The Octatrack had zero problems dealing with the 20mins long 300mb sample, I used a lot of effects, filters, scenes, everything worked perfect no hiccups. Thanks for the help!
