Strange Stereo 'Effect'

Hi, using the Digitakt, it’s a mono machine but without any effects on the mono samples, it sounds to me like the output is super wide and stereo. Almost like it’s doing a fake stereo effect - anyone else notice this? My mono inputs like from the modular sound dead centre but the Digitakt sounds super wide. Not finding this so much with the Digitone.

No lfo on pan?

Try to connect the Digitakt to a pair of speakers directly if possible to see if the problem persists.

Try different cables.

Headphones output same problem?

Where do you connect the outputs of the Digitakt into? Check if the problem is there. For instance in case of a mixer by checking if each of the 2 channel’s settings are exactly the same, and if so by checking on different channels to make sure the problem is not with those specific channels etc.

So basically try to find if there is a problem outside of the Digitakt and if not, you might want to contact support. Could be a hardware related phasing problem.

Definitely not normal. My first guess would be a phase issue, maybe one channel is inverted. How are you listening and how is everything hooked up?

I am noticing a similar issue with the model:samples. I haven’t done any tests yet so nothing to confirm, but will try tonight.

I’m using a K-Mix and it’s a new mixer I put headphones on and swapped the channels round and it is fine so it must be the mixer, thanks for the help!

After trying with my Scarlett 2i2 there doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. Mine was just a metering issue on the Organelle I was inputting to it seems.
