Multimode is very fun!
And it helped me a lot when printed out CC numbers

In the Tetra patches you design, breath/aftertouch/mod wheel etc can be assigned to the parameters which are inaccessible via CC. It takes a few extra mod slots in your patch but there’s plenty of mods available 
I don’t have Tetra but it works well for Mopho & X4
