Eventually detail each detail you modify from new project.
Thanks for the continued support guys I’m going to sit down right now and try to figure this out
Jumping back too early to start again or just jumping back?
In the first case it gets retriggered too early (with just one trigger this happens when the pattern repeats too fast). In the second case the note/trigger length is too short to play the whole sample. Without timestretch on both cases are “tempo vs. sample length” related …
(Since you’ve said you checked the sample in the AED I guess its not a problem with the sample end markers)
When starting a new project DON’T REPEAT your complete “sample+save+assign” procedure. Just take the single sample which wasn’t playing correctly on the previous project, load and assign it to a flex machine and play it.
It’s much easier to test this way without any additional steps which may introduce side effects …
I couldn’t reproduce your issue but I found something weird : recording is not played if buffer is empty before recording.
I’m on 1.30B, pretty sure it was working properly before. Can anybody try ?
@Open_Mike, could you try with 1.25H ?
Simple test, no midi :
New project
Track 1 Flex with a trig on step 1
Track 1 recorder with a rec trig on step 1
Play and check the play cursor.
Not played the first pass, played after.
Clear the buffer to try again (Rec Setup, Fn + Play out of Grid Recording).
Record trig recording inputs, no Src3 setting, and play trig on same step playing buffer to pass audio?
That definitely works on first pass…
I have experienced rare occasions after some sneaky combinations of switching patterns/parts where it stopped working until part reload, clearing the buffer, or something like that. Maybe having to do with different recorder settings and starting/stopping the sequencer mid recording and switching pattern/part when stopped, previous scene still working, I don’t know.
On new project should just work…
Thanks. Yes, with default setttings, I mentionned only changes.
That would be a major bug for recording.
Workaround would be to have a template project with audio in buffers.
Anyone with 1.30B OS or higher can test / confirm?
