Storage Space, +Drive

Hey everyone, first post here.

I’ve been uploading samples into my AR…
I’d like to know if there is a way of checking how much storage space is left.
Is it possible?

Thanks
Ciao

Hi there.
The answer to your question is no you can’t.

+Drive space for samples is about 1 gigabyte and for the project ram (the ram used for the 128 sample slots each project can hold) is 64 megabytes.

My personal view is that knowing how much project ram that is used/left would help me more then knowing what’s left on the +Drive.

Yes.
While in the sample view on the +Drive press right arrow and you got options to delete the sample.

I have been wanting this for a long time…
Hadn’t noticed before today.

Thank you @Elektron

Where? Not on MK1.

On MK1 you can check the storage via elektron transfer.

I just checked the manuals, it seems indeed to be only mk2 only (see p. 63 of mk2 manual)

hey. where can you see that?

Sorry, my mistake) it seemed to me that i saw, but then i realized i saw the whole amount of folder with my samples when i uploaded it from AR to my PC) that’s how i found out how much storage it takes on AR)

Has anyone looked into the upgradeability of the +Drive? Is it a discrete part that could one day be replaced with more capacity? Soldering included.
