Does anyone have an issue where the stereo field from the input isn’t retained after going through the Heat?
I’m getting a sound almost like the inputs are mono summed somewhere in the signal path, since the motion of a sound panning left and right from a synth going into the Heat, disappeared from the output.
And I’m not activating M/S mode in the VST, either. activating L/R mode there doesn’t seem to help.
Last night I ran a full mix through the analog heat. The song had a very obvious back and forth panning applied to a side stick sound and it stayed true to that original panning automation while being processed by heat. I hope this helps and isn’t just stuff that makes you roll your eyes lol but I noticed for sure the AH effects the stereo image on some settings more than others… did you try a different preset/distortion mode to see if it was just that particilar setting that was cramping your style?
certain dist modes mess up the stereo image. Try another dist mode?
