Im sure this has been addressed but my search is not yielding results 
am wondering how I set up the sequencer when streaming a 6 minute track via the CF Card using a static machine. would the track not just start over each time the sequence returns to 0?
is there a trick to this? thx in advance for any help
You can place a trigger, that only triggers once, until you reset the sequencer or reset the trigger… I think the manual calls it a one-shot trigger…
anyways… if your in recording mode… and you set a trigger… the light turns red… but if you do function + trigger on an existing trigger it goes yellow…
that’s the one-shot trigger… it will trigger once, until you re-arm it (that’s the term used by manual)
if by any chance, I remembered it wrong, and your trigger turns green… you got the wrong one… that’s the triggerless trigger…
enjoy searching/reading the manual… it will be so much more clear then my from-memory-post… and don’t take me wrong, when I say: you really do yourself a favour by reading the manual… some stuff on octatrack is weird/difficult to figure out by trail and error… so don’t be offended… help yourself and search manual
