I have a 16 bar drone loop playing in a static machine. I created two slices of 8 bars each in order to play slice 1 in pattern A1 and slice 2 in pattern A2.
Can I set a loop point for each individual slice?

Yes
Try it. When you go into the audio editor and you have a slice selected move the loop around.
I’ve been away from my Octa for a week
Use the waveform marker or press the [RIGHT] or [LEFT] arrow keys to navigate between the slices. A slice needs to be active, which is indicated by inverted graphics, for slice start, loop and end points to be set. When a slice is active knob A sets the start point, knob B sets the loop point and knob C sets the end point.
Slice mode on.
YES!! I got it. My mistake was that I did not set the loop point in the slice menu! Thank you!
