ok having a real Octatrack shitstorm of a day over here … other than my thru machine, my tracks are only playing when I have them cued and the trigs are flashing red . I’m sure the solution is simple but I can’t find it for some reason. please help !!
Flashing yellow / red?
Probably one shot trigs. Activate / deactivate with Fn+Trig.
they are flashing red and when I press cue+track they play out of headphones(not main out) .

ok I read through the thread. its def not cables or an OT malfunction because my other saved songs work fine. its something about the output of the tracks. I’m fairly sure it has to do with me using a keystep as a midi controller and I have sent out some cc info that has changed something. my A4 is coming through just fine but somehow nothing else is making it to the output. even the audio editor is muted.
To control Level?
Level at 0 would explain that.
Track buttons/leds are not trigs.

Have you checked for mutes/solos in the mixer menu?

“Cue mutes track” might be activated in menu. Also check “Studio Mode”.

YES! it was soloed in the mixer menu as you both said. I re-read the manual about cue routing like 4 times before reading the mixer menu page. why that took so long I do not know.
