hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone has come across a desktop stand for an A4 that isn’t fixed (ie, no screws). I tend to take my A4 out and about, but need a stand for when it’s in the studio. I’m thinking of something with an angle, that I can just pop it into / onto, and easily take off again when we go walkies (!)
It doesn’t have to be bespoke, so a laptop stand or something could work… just thought I’d ask here before I start hunting!

Those are OK, but they will slide around on your desk a lot.
You could affix the ISBERGET with something semi-permanent, like Sugru. (The substance can be formed however you wish and sticks to just about anything. Removal is easy, too.)

These stands are great value, but hopeless for something like the RYTM if you actually want to play pads properly (they had bigger versions which were a little stiffer) (and slidey as pointed out)
The larger ones have a rubber pad on one side to help with slip but not super effective. I’ve bought self adhesive rubber pad for the ones I own and affixed them to the bottom as well as some felt to cover the lip on the edge. For only a few dollars they can be modded in to rather functional stands
Does anyone actually play the pads on the RYTM? They are awful.
I’ve never had an issue, and I always/only play the pads (i’m sure there are superior/different feel variants out in gear land) … but nobody has an issue wrt aftertouch feel and that’s where these stands start to lose their appeal imho (under load/pressure, just a tiny bit too flexible, fine for an A4 though) … great value and handy in any case

i don’t know where your located, but i have 2 handcrafted wooden stands just as you described. I’m not using them anymore as I sold my A4 & RYTM
they arent and were never advertised as performance pads

all the stand angles (and cost) don’t look so appealing there IMHO … nice for a tablet tho

The Bacca stands are nice but kinda pricey (especially compared to £1.50 ha ha!)
