How easy is it to set up 2 projects in Hapax for every project, if you need more than 16 tracks?
I just got the Pyramid repaired to upgrade from the DN2 as a sequencer… excited to get back into the Squarposphere. Gotta admit I’m still curious about the beautiful Hapax too.
Also, +1 on everyone commending Squarps service. They answered mails very swiftly and it took them one day back in office after Christmas holidays to send it back after repair. Got lots of respect for this company!
I’ve had a similar problem trying sequence a TB-03. Automation timing is just kinda weird. It gets close enough in most circumstances but sometimes it feels odd.
I think it is because of the limitations of the midi spec. You might improve the timing by changing your routing. For multi channel midi or high polyphony + midi cc it is better to use usb, as it has a much broader bandwidth.
I never do this since 16 is always enough for me. But it should be really easy, since Instrument Definitions make it super easy to assign instruments to tracks.
Great to know guys. I have a few multitimbral synths that I like to squeeze, plus FX units, aux sends, mixer controls (NRPN) etc. Maybe having a bilateral project setup is a good thing in this case. Like having one ”utilities/FX” project and one ”instrument” project. I’ll mull on this for a bit while messing with the Pyra. Thanks!
It is not surprising at all to me. ChatGPT is an algorithm, not a human being. It just makes up random stuff all the time. People should stop using that bs. Just learn reading manuals.
I tried using ChatGPT for the same purpose - you’re much better off just making a searchable PDF library instead. If you have Acrobat you can have it put all your PDF manuals in an archive and then search easier that way. ChatGPT will literally make functions and buttons up. I’ve found it’s easier to bounce creative ideas off of it than anything of technical value.
