It’s probably a dumb question (gotta admit i’m still an elektron-noob) but imma ask anyway.
When you download soundpacks and make a new project to load them on the Rytm,
can i only use them (sounds & samples) in that exact project? Or can i for example use samples from legowelt in the presets-project? Would find it pretty lame if i’d have to change projects everytime i want my sound pack samples no?
Cheers Peter for your colourful answer and at the same time showing me how dumb my question probably was!
Is there a way to see every sample RAM & +Drive in the sample parameter page or is this too much to ask?
You can store individual sounds (with samples) by saving them into the sound pool. The sounds in the sound pool can be accessed from any project. It’s a bit clunky for storing entire kits, I know, but it works.
I don’t think that’s correct Tsutek…
Sounds from the sound pool can only be accessed by the project that is loaded. If you want to use those sounds in other projects you need to first save them to the +Drive, load a new project and load the sounds from the +Drive to the new project’s Sound Pool…
teomi is correct.
Another thing you can do is to copy entire kits between projects. When in kit menu just use Function/copy then open the new project and go into kit menu where there is a spare spot and do Function/paste.
Allright, so if i copy the kits with the soundpacks in (for example) the presets project and do the same with the samples through soundpool & +Drive i’ll have all my sounds & all of my samples in 1 project? Thx!
