I’ve always loved this track. Production levels are off the chart. I wondered if anyone knew what processing they used to get what I think is snare FX in the 4th bar of drums? e.g. around 49 seconds after the first snare in the 4th bar.
Don’t think is FX. Think more of some percussive noise sound, sampled, trimmed, fast retriggered and HP filtered

sounds like gated noise to me
