I have a problem with my rytm. I sync my rytm to my macbook with ableton or maschine. I program pattern wit own sounds. Now to my problem.
After a time the sounds change. I program a short snare and after a time, it sounds like a tom drum, a snare with a long decay. I must start the rytm new.
Sometimes a pattern runs and for two bars a the BD is away.
Last I program a beat with a clap, i put the machine to pause, after a hour I start again and the clap was away. Nothing. I hit on the pad and nothing happen. I must restart the rytm.
It is analog, and the general nature of analog circuits is that they will change in behavior at different temperatures.
Once the machine has been on for about 10-15 minutes it should be settled at a stable operating temperature.
If you turn the machine on, make a sound right away, then play the sound back 10 minutes later, it will more than likely sound different than what you programmed.
i think glain_de is not hearing the sound at all. that’s probably a bug but you have 1.02e … i’m on 1.02d and never happened
a good time to open a ticket
edit: check if you’re sending MIDI commands to the AR from live/maschine, that could be another reason…perhaps you’re sending MIDI CCs that affect the sounds on the AR
when you want to know what is happening that you think may be a bug, disconnect everything first
.
some sounds are built on filter feedback, so depending on how you program a pattern, sounds can appear to vanish (these sounds need time to build up), whilst that’s not what you’re completely describing just keep it in mind, it certainly relates to your BD issue though
.
save a sound and test it in a blank pattern to see if it’s being affected by p-locks in the current pattern
