Thanks, I am quite interested in glitchy rhythmic stuff (I don’t mind pads but have that covered with plenty of other gear) but most of the demos I’ve seen focus on pads/shimmer.
What do you use for pads?
- Can be vocal sounds sampled straight into instrument via microphone?
- Can Texture Lab work as pedal or FX unit for any source?

To awake this sleeping beauty:
I came across this synth I forgot about and it peaks my interest. I’m still looking for 1 hardware synth with these kind of sounds. The LFO Store presets come with 32 samples you must load.
Waldorf Blofeld is another candidate.
Any ‘year later’ reviews, impressions?
I know about the 4 voices and the lack of full envelopes.
The ELZ-1 Play seems also nice, but more expensive and sold out at the moment. Not sold by Sonicware but by Dr. Yuendo.

Have you seen the new Ambient Sonicware synth? I have one on preorder, I’ll probably sell my Texture Lab for it since I have much better granular hardware.
I heard some sounds on Pro Sound Network show. Will have to check it out.
In the meantime I have postponed buying gear, now is not the time to buy. That is also a luxury.
I got a hold of one of these lately and been playing about with it.
