Just about anything James Jamerson played bass on.

I remember reading a story where Marving Gaye was at the studio late at night working on “What’s Going On” and wanted a bass line recorded, so he went to the club to find Jamerson and bring him back to the studio. Supposedly Jamerson was so inebriated that he had to play lying down on his back. Great tune, and the bass is wonderful on this track.
