Did a bit more testing, and what seems to be happening is that in Song Mode, the mute settings for the upcoming pattern in the song row gets applied to the last step of the current pattern.
In other words, setting mutes in Song Mode won’t work if you have trigs on the last step of your pattern for the track you currently have muted, but will be unmuted thereafter.
