Some inspiration for my mpk49 midi keyboard mapping

Howdy all!!

so i have never in my life really ben bothered with midi controllers and such as, well, I’m no Debussy…but i have just gotten myself an akai mpk 49. i think its great and i reckon it really can open up my a4 quite a bit! but with so many controllers there I’m looking at it going, where do i start??

i think one thing i would like to do is map the individual tracks volumes to the faders (like when you are in performance mode.)

id say the knobs will prob go to lfo duties… but i was wondering - does anybody else have one of these and could give me a few tips?

cheers for any help.

Conor

Mapping performance mode knobs to your MPK could be very cool – I think you can control them over MIDI.

^If that works, I think I’d make one global filtersweep knob… You know, it’s nice to sweep 'em now and then

Also mapping knobs or sliders to FX sends would be fun… You know, doing ‘fader throws’, i.e. sending one snare hit to delay & reverb, dub-style.
