Soma Cosmos -> Lunacy Audio's BEAM?

So I’ve become a big fan of Lunacy’s BEAM plugin, to the point that I’ve replaced Mutable Beads with it as you can set it up in a similar way… plus save patches, automate in Ableton etc.

I was thinking about picking up a Soma Cosmos again, for all the interesting things it does (plus more options now with alternate FW updates)… but now I’m wondering could some of the Cosmos’ functionality be replicated in BEAM? It would seem with clever setup of the Space, Grains and Filter nodes one could get pretty close the to the Soma’s magic sauce.

Anyone else with BEAM wanting to attempt it?

For those unfamiliar, here’s a nice primer of the fx potential of BEAM:

You should probably just buy my Cosmos🤔

Yeah probably

Another option could be the Korg NTS-3 … Loopop made a patch that does some Cosmos-esque looping

…not sure, if beam sounds as nice as it looks…

earcandy vs. eyecandy starts bothering me these days…
