SOLVED Sound Lock envelopes overlap - Bug?

If I lay out say 2 kicks on 1 and 9 then sound lock a snare at 5 and 13 - the kicks ‘disappear’ completely - not always - seems to depend on the sound I lock in - so some sounds are fine and work as expected but others kill the original sound or in some cases the original sound rises slowly as if a slow envelope is being applied…

My instinct was maybe note lengths - but they are all set to 16ths - any ideas anyone?

Many of the good kick sounds to be made on the a4 utilize Oscillator 1’s filter feedback waveform. These sounds often need a moment to build up energy in the feedback network before the sound stabilizes. Kicks made in this manner will often seem to lack full impact when first triggered or when the oscillator’s waveform is reset by p-locking to a different sound in between triggers.

Thanks but it’s not that - the kick I’m using is based on just filter res on second filter - oscillators are both on zero volume - but you might be onto something here…

it actually is the multimode filter that’s susceptible to this!

Yeah - nothing to do with envelopes - if I swap the kick for one that doesn’t rely on feedback or res then it all plays nice - I remember reading about resonance build up issues in another thread but couldn’t find it - may have been on EU…
