waaaah PHAT !!! …

I routed the Juno through the A4 FX section… jeeeeeeeee …

Except me

why dont you need one mr rust?

Why do I need one? Not a big fan. And have been there, done that.

so, I am in front of my Juno 106.

I go to Bank and select for example Bank 3.

Then Patch Number 5.

Then I hit some keys but hear no sound.

Only after moving the FREQ slider + VCA + SUB I hear a sound.

thats for all the saved patches. is that normal?

Something something, Manual button or something like that?

Controls whether using a patch, or manual settings.

thanks — no luck there… pushing manual makes the display go – … but if I then choose a preset … the aforementioned behaviour occurs

I think you have to save the Sound in a Part of a Kit.
Then you’re good to save it in your Project through Sysex…

Congrats on the recent addition. I’ve owned one for years and I too enjoy it.

Now if only my 106, MKS-7 and MKS-30 didn’t have those wretched 80017a chips…

hmm - that doesn’t sound right at all. recalling a patch should do exactly that - bring all the patch settings back. The MANUAL button just flips to WYSIWYG panel mode

can’t think why it would do that - sounds like it’s not actually saving the patches properly ? New Battery ?

Mine is semi-unusable atm, suffering from the dreaded Voice chip failure. had one set of voices fixed about 10 years ago & now the others have gone…common problem.

solved: write protect was on so I could not save my own patches. and the patch bank were all empty so loading patches was never an option!
