( 1 ) only have the c6 window open - don’t use the transfer
( 2 ) make sure you only have the - usb midi option checked
( 3 ) go to the sussex dump page on Digitone
( 4 ) go down to sounds
( 5 ) yeh make sure on the c6 window you click config and click both the midi out/ins Digitone
( 6 ) click yes on the bank you want to transfer
( 7 ) then click receive on the c6 window …wait till all the data has been received. then push stop on the c6 window … side note you’ll know when its done when your Digitone screen stops saying sending and says “complete”
( 8 ) then you should see " Received data 1.syx" - click on it
( 9 ) click save …to which ever folder
( 10 ) then I get rid of the file in the c6 window …and repeat #1-10 process
Is there no way to backup the digitone using elektron transfer? C6 does not work on my hypermodern Mac
You could use the free software SysEx Librarian as a substitute for C6.
