Software sequencer?

Anyone have a recommendation for a good software sequencer with a piano roll to visualize live recording, midi file export, and decent sounds? I just want to practice keyboard with a visual, using an mpc one but it’s overkill.

Sorry Mac laptop

Or maybe a iPad if I was convinced it was better

GarageBand fits the requirements, and you most likely already have it.

…get a bitwig license…and be happy forever and prepared for whatever ur next level whishes might be…

and if ur apple anyway…200 bux for a logix license is a no brainer…does ALL and way more than ur askin’ for…

and if u don’t wanna spent any money…have a closer look into garageband…that also provides piano roll and endless sound options already…

I don’t see the lessons section but I am on a iPhone only, will be getting an ipad or laptop in the next month.

Thx!

Drambo for the iPad is a great Sequencer that will feel like an Elektron workflow for you. The 1.5 version is currently in Beta and will feature a Piano Roll.

It also runs on the M1 Macs fwiw.

Here’s a great thread on this wonderful app:
