As an owner of both boxes I vote “YES!!!”
I so wish there was a way of adding the A4s perf mode to the monomachine it would be so awesome.

I vote yes as well!
Don’t have an OCTA, what am I missing?
I don´t think it would happens but yeah, it would be great
anyway I “feel” the MnM (and MD) more inviting to be used than the latest elektron machines…the OT was hard to learn and the A4 got some bugs that made me avoid it for quick work, when I need to go fast and sure
Personally, I would settle for independent track multipliers but what the hell you can’t shoot a man for dreaming.
Have you tried sending the joystick controls to the Monomachine’s multi trig channel?
It distributes them across all tracks, letting you get global modulation.
^ Yes, the SFX6 joystick is the reason I kept my 6 over my 60mkII, if anything I wish the A4 had the joystick too
You can set it up on the 60, but on the 6 it is integral.
Yes, wouldn’t be surprised if a keyboard Analog Four was released, even if only a 1000 units were made.
For those who like me don’t have a keyboard version with joystick, I guess it wouldn’t be too hard making a joystick with Arduino or similar microcontroller so to have a funny and programmable perf. Mode.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that… They made 500 of the SFX-6; and I don’t think that they were exactly a roaring success / not much profit margin.
Mind you, if they hadn’t had made such a stupid design decision…
For those of us that don’t own an A4, what is the “perf mode” all about?
one more YES on that
Basically allows the creation/setting/usage of macro knobs; I think 10 at a time?
A macro knob can then adjust up to 10 parameters (to various depths) at once.
I think, someone will correct me if I am wrong.
macro-parameters to control several track parameters at once with a single knob: you can select which parameters to group…
Oh yes, that is cool. So essentially the same as a P8 machine on the MD. That would be an amazing feature to have on the MnM.
I didn’t know the A4 had this, but now I really want it on the MNM. I love using the Mono, but I tend to just set it and forget it when I’m jamming because it isn’t nearly as tweakable as the MD. I hope there is some way this could be included in a future update.
