Small stereo distortion unit?

Hi there,

I’m looking for a small hardware stereo distortion unit. I’ve been searching a lot, and so far Proco DeuceTone Rat is the only one I’ve found. It’s pretty expensive and more like two mono distortions, so an alternative would be sweet. Can you guys recommend something?

Cheers,
Nikolaj

Assuming your intention isn’t to input a stereo guitar (i.e. you’re thinking of beefing up some synths and making a mess of a drum loop), then I can always be counted on to recommend OTO Machines’ Biscuit:

I’m afraid it’s even more expensive, but it will do more than just distortion, and has a ton of bells & whistles including MIDI in & out (it’s a synth, too!). And it looks great.

Worth a look at least?

(To be fair though, if you’d said “I’m thinking of buying a coffee blender”, I’d have recommended a Biscuit, too…)

^ I have the same sentiments. Sounds great on guitars even.

Likewise, check out the Biscuit

Yup. Biscuit.

I would take the Eventide H9 multi-fx over the Biscui’, unless you’re truly looking for a step seq bit breaker as well- but it is a clever little machine and has the plus of looking like a baby OT/A4 (shoo shweet!)
