I’m looking for a small MIDI keyboard (preferably 25 keys), where I quickly can change the MIDI channel. Why? I want to record to different MIDI tracks on my OT and also just being able to change between different sound on my Nord Lead 3 using different MIDI channels.
I know that the Novation Remote 25SL does the trick, but that seems kinda overkill for just changing MIDI channel

qunexus is an option for that.
Yeah? I tried to find out how MIDI channel changes works on the Qunexus, and it seemed like you needed to go through several button combinations. Am I wrong?
Why not just use the Auto Channel on the OT?
I just set my controller to send to the Auto Channel of the OT, then whatever midi channel is assigned to whatever midi track you have active on the OT will be the channel you are sending/playng/controlling.
This way you never have to change midi channel on your controller…ever.
The problem is that I sometimes want to edit the audio tracks on the OT while I’m playing the keyboard, and then I’m not able to change the channel (right?)
This is correct. When you switch to the audio tracks from midi mode, you do lose this functionality.
depends what you consider several…the manual is online i think, so, it should be a easy to see if it is your thing. i find it nice and simple on these things.

its a handy and expressive piece of kit. and if i count it right, it is about three-four steps to change the channel. it can also make channel rotation for simulating poly, so, that might be an out-of-the-box approach to sequence programming too.
But you could do it in two steps by changing to another preset right?
