Does anyone know if either the Analog Four or the Monomachine have the function to skip active steps? So for exampe if your pattern has 16 steps, you can skip step 2, 6 and 11.
An example of what I mean is shown with an SQ1 in this video.
Any help is appreciated!
How would the user interface for such a feature work?[/quote]
It could be tied to the mute mode. A second page of sorts with yellow trigs for active steps and unlit ones for unactive. Would be fun…
All steps with yellow LEDs are the active steps, and all steps that are off could be the steps being skipped. (As said by Space tent earlier ; ) )
If you want to know how something like this plays out, you should really take a look at the video from the opening post. Besides the Korg SQ1, this feature can also be found in the Volca series and the Korg Monotribe.
This feature can be found in hardware 1/10th the price of Elektron gear. Surely there must be a way to implement this with a simple update.
