Also support mono samples! Saves RAM.
Unfortunately, OT records only in stereo.

Could you record in mono using the spatializer MS option?

Always stereo but L and R would be the same

You can also record 1 input A/B/C/D but the recording file is still stereo.

We’d double recording time with mono files.

I find it strange that the two channels are « occupied » but you can still get double recording time. Is it that the OT mirrors the mono signal just when playing?

I don’t understand what do you mean by that…
Whatever the source is, even a single input, OT records a stereo file.

:thinking: you can’t. Maybe I don’t understand this either. I meant a mono file recording would double max recording time…

No but you can at least exploit the ‘always stereo storage’ thing with spatialiser:
