I have a sidstation here and the controllers are behaving strangely.
The number 2 controller rotates from 0-127 within the marked area on the front panel.
The other 3 go outside the marked areas and don’t seem to be as sensitive to change when rotating.
1, 3 and 4 are smooth but take a longer turn to get through their ranges (0-127).
Has anyone else come across this?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Update:
This turned out to be fairly simple; although not immediately obvious.
The yellow indicators on the sidstation knobs (and rotary dial) slide out to reveal a small whole; inside is a small allen key fitting which needs to be tightened to fix the knob to the pot shaft.
Turns out it was just the knobs slipping past the actual pot range and indications. They were still tight enough to make it look/feel as if the pots were dysfunctional.
Hopefully useful to anyone else wondering how to remove the knobs or to tighten them up.

useful post in 2025! i had the same problem, but worse, mine were endless.
at first i thought the pots needed replacing, then found this post.
my knobs were really gummy inside, like glue, like sticky plastic deteriorating over time.
it didn’t occur to me that the yellow indicators were removable and that there is a hidden screw tightening the knob to the shaft.
a little visual calibration and tightening fixed the problem, thanx dude!

I’m jealous of your Sidstation problems.
