Shuttle Control vs FH-2

Can someone compare these two usb-midi-cv interfaces?

I’m more biased to Shuttle Control but on the paper both do what I need (monophonic midi-cv with auto portamento, CCs, clock…). Also I don’t need 16 outputs for now, so if I get the FH-2 I could delay getting the expander.

+1

I have a cv ocd which is garbage. You need to load a new program via the web if you want to change something and it’s so messy having it outside the rack. The presets in the shuttle control would remedy that. However the fh-2 is very expandable however so I dunno jury is out. Ideally you’d having enough outputs to do what you want you don’t need presets. Cause it’s a ball ache. The cv ocd only has 4 cv. Which is not enough, as one note ideally uses a gate a pitch and a velocity. So it leaves you short.

I’m going with Shuttle Control mostly cause I don’t like the FH-2 interface (specially screen and led jacks). Looks to me like Endorphines is doing a better job in both in hardware and software.

Can’t find any demo of internal envelopes but the idea is really great. I believe Cirklon added this feature some time ago. So one could output pitch and envelopes instead of gates and have midi control over decay.
