Yes, nice.
Do they give a lot of fruits ?

Not last year because of a late frost, and even though they’re still young, things are starting off pretty well now.
Even with the birds, given the number of trees, we’re well served.
In two or three years, we’ll probably be making some serious preserves.

ive been spotting cherries growing around my neighborhood, saw a couple raccoons munching on them in one of the biggest trees. ive also been seeing super bright red cherries on thinner, shorter trees. they almost look fake, like they took maraschino cherries out of a jar and put them on the tree, do you know what those would be?

“Bigarreau”,

or simply sour cherries.

A huge number of varieties, but these two are rather “strange plastic decorations.”

Cherries, my fav. Montmorency, or griottes in french.
Perfect for marmelades, clafoutis.

It’ll look better when the grasses are all 8ft tall and my nosy miserable old fucking neighbours can’t glare at me over my fucking fence.

Ornamental grass grows fast as hell! You’ll be bitching dead heeding it though! I tie mine up then cut it down so it’s not as messy!

The way that grass is now you’ll skin your knee on it if you go down in a tussle

Yeah, we’ve not had much rain lately and I don’t like the amount of water it wastes keeping it green.

It pissed down this morning and it’ll piss down tonight, so it’ll be greener than a Cypress Hill record by Tuesday.

Should see the grass behind my house. Looks passable about 3 weeks out of the year and fucking mad max for the other 49.

An interesting quirk of where we live in Sheffield is that on our road, a lot of houses have long thin gardens.

Ours is around 3.7m wide by 25m long.

We’re moving soon and I’ll miss this green space.
