So jealous for all you guys having a lawn we have brown, dry soil. No rain in sight, so I water the seeds daily. Cherry tree however is maxed out
and luckily we are rhe new kids in the hood, so all our neighborhoods starteted their gardens 30 yeara ago which means there are plenty of greens around us already
Yeah, there are a few nice leafy mature gardens around us too. So nice to just stand on the back step and smell the blossom whilst the dog is doing her last patrol of the garden before bed.
Wroclaw maybe?
Early this afternoon, in the middle of mowing my lawn, I bent the blades of my lawn tractor on an obstacle…
My wonderful neighbor lent me her articulated lawn tractor (!) so I could finish…
So, since it turns on its own axis, I was able to leave “flower circles” everywhere for our insect friends and contour like never before.
The vegetable garden is coming along nicely, what a pleasure.
The season starts. I’m just preparing things and hope for the best. I go walking for a month, so I"ll not be able to take care of the garden.
Just seeing the green and being able to be in nature quick is a blessing.
I lived in the city for few years, now back to a quieter less hectic live.
Düsseldorf… definitely!
Duuuude
Please keep us update on the growth process
Mine too! Hope is coming soon…
Strange creatures in my garden, chapter 119 (or thereabout).
This dude sat by the entrance of our front door. Fascinating colors.
“Sphinx du chèvrefeuille”, broad-bordered bee hawk-moth (Hemaris fuciformis).
Beautiful creature. Nature’s color palette cannot often be improved upon.
@simonbradford That’s what it’s called? Lovely names!
@shigginpit So true!
