I use a studio myself. I like the per button function. I can make beats through muscle memory. The touch screen doesn’t do it for me. I prefer a mouse for chopping samples anyways.
I think most people would prefer the X but that price tag is a bit much. I can do so much more with so much less money I can’t justify it. I get a much more powerful machine balancing my iPad above my 1k. Still get jealous when I see an X though and still long for a big massive MPC on the side
