I think you should go to a shop if possible and play them. I checked a minilogue XD and peak next to each other first. the minilogue XD just lost by so much.
after some threads here I checked the digitone next to the peak this week and again the peak won by a mile. I do have to say though, that I played the presets on the digitone and programmed the peak from init.

Im buying the peak because it is the best sound for my setup. everything else would be a compromise and basicly will end up in buying twice. if you dont nail the synth, you probably will be posting the same question in 1,5 years.

I have a Blofeld desktop that I pair with my digitakt… And yes it does have great breadth, and sounds mostly great. But I would prefer a Digitone over the blofeld, I don’t love the UI on the blofeld, the menu diving is bothersome.

Hi I bought a Deepmind 6 to use as a poly synth - I was surprised how good it is - I bought it second hand for £350 its a great poly synth and the effects make sound design really easy and lush - I have effects in my daw and eventide outboard and the effects in deep-mind easily stand up to anything I’ve heard - its a very good option to consider

I got rid of my XD this week.

One reason was that i personally think the Monologue sounds way better. And i actually think the original Minilogue sounds better than the XD too.

I’m also contemplating selling my Minilogue XD. I rather have a great sounding mono synth instead so I am thinking about replacing it with an AS-1. Any other recommendations for something in that general price range?

Elektron should consider a monophonic analog Synth. One voice from A4, but with one knob per function UI and expanded sequencable FX engine and the Elektron Sequencer plus Midi Sequencer…for 399 a seller.

Since I already have the 0-coast maybe getting a semi-modular like the Erebus would make for a great pair.

Yes the organic but also rasping NoCoast Sound will Go Well with the warm more moogish Erebus. And the Patch possibilities will give interesting results.

Just didn’t NEED the money. I’ve not used the OG in months tho and feel I should sell. I hadn’t used XD in months either till I decided to map it using push2 and max4live. Breathed a new lease of life being able to randomize every parameter instantly (including fx) and then save as a preset!

Maybe I should try it with the OG too before selling! :slight_smile:
