Hi there.
So each set has an audio pool shared amongst every pattern in that set.
This might be an obvious question, but in a situation where you are using the same loop, say in 8 different compositions within the same set, then is it best to save that sample/loop 8 times within the set audio pool if you’re way of working involves the ‘FUNCTION and RIGHT ARROW’ method of quickly switching between samples.
This has run me into trouble once when I forgot that if you change one sample shared between many compositons you change the sample for all.
Just eager to hear some views by people also using the ‘FUNCTION and RIGHT ARROW’ method.
Thanks
Rusty

Clone samples, or use the gather to Project method.
Each sample should be its own unique entity if specifically utilised imho.
Thanks for your advice, Rusty.
Even with the ‘collect al samples’ method, if you change the sample in one pattern/part sharing a sample without another pattern/part within a single set, the samples will change for each.
Multiple copies seems like the only alternative to me.
Sorry for my ignorance but I presume by ‘clone’ you mean make multiple duplicates?
I see. Thanks. Much obliged for your input, Rusty.
