Shared metronome with digitone & digitakt

Hi there, wondering if someone can help out re this: I am unsure how to share the click / metronome across my digitone and digitakt. I have the digitone slave to the digitakt.

When I want to record a midi track from digitone on the digitakt, I can’t hear the metronome (I can hear it if I plug the headphone jack / audio out from digitakt) I am not sure how to set it up to achieve this?

The digitakt and the digitone cannot route the audio of their metronomes. So if the metronome is turned on you should be able to hear it from the audio output of the machine which it is turned on.
